This
workshop addresses the topic of using international standards in e-Learning environment. This
workshop shows a definition of
these standards and the need for and benefit from their use to achieve the exchange
and integration between
the systems used in e-learning environment. Examples
of these systems: (Learning Management Systems), (Learning Objects
Authoring Tools), and (Digital Rights Management Systems) the most important objectives are:
1- Define the global standards used in e-Learning environment.
2- Shows the need of using these standards.
3- Identify the benefits of using these standards.
4- Define the areas of using of e-Learning Standards
5- International standards and their roles in activating the usage
of open source
6- International standards
and their roles in achieving integration between e-Learning Systems
7- International standards and their roles in activate using ,
sharing ,storing and retrieving educational objects ( learning objects) .
