ReDSOFT in cooperation with the Arab Bureau of
Education for the Gulf States and the Ministry of
Education of Kuwait has organized a workshop for
professionals in the science curriculum at the high school level from
Member states of the Bureau of Education for the Gulf States in
Kuwait from 14 - 16/5/1429H ,19-21/5/2008 , and to
study the analysis of High school science
curriculum (Physics - Chemistry - Biology
- Geology) for grades 10/11/12 in the Member States of
the Office of Education for the Gulf States, and provide
feedback for analysis and put it in final
form. The analysis was built on the science
curriculum high school, issued by the Educational Research
Center for the countries of Arab Gulf, and samples of high
school science books in the Member States of the Bureau of Education for
the Gulf States, and some foreign sources such as National
Science Education Standards Holt Rinehart and Winston (Harcourt
Company), McGraw Hill.
The scientific analysis included the
following points:
1. The main topics of the content.
2. Sub- topics .
3. Learning Objects (LO).
4. Goals.
As a result of discussions and observations the
analysis has been adopted from all Member of Arab Bureau of Education for the
Gulf States
.
