participates in the 2nd Forum of electronic services in GCC
countries under the slogan (Electronic Technology ….Practices and experiences)
which organized by the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research and the Kuwait Foundation
for the Advancement of Science and the Kuwait Society of Engineers.
The
Forum sponsor, Sheikh Dr. Anwar Faisal Al-Saud Al-Sabah said at the opening of
the forum that the Forum reviews the information and communication technology in
serving the government services electronically and the positive impact in
facilitating the work and interests of citizens, investors and business sectors
in the GCC.
In
addition the forum aims to create an ideal channel between the different
sectors of government and investors in telecommunication systems, information
technology and contribute in the development of communications systems and
information technology on the use of electronic government services. She stated
that developed countries have become very interested in the application of the
concept of e-government update its sectors and strengthen the information and
communication technology to serve electronic government services.
