ReDSOFT in cooperation with
Kuwait University (College of Engineering Department of computer) and the Gulf
University for Science and Technology during the period from 7 to 9 April 2008 organized the first international conference of
technology and communication and education in order to create effective links
among technology, education and communication experts, , as well as researchers
all over the world to exchange ideas, innovations and researches associated
with the use of ICT in education. .
In the field of ??activities and events of the
conference professionals from nearly 300
universities from different countries offer papers to the Conference, after the
arbitration with high quality scientific help of university professors and the filtration
for the best paper , the top 70
scientific papers have been selected for presentation sessions of the
Conference.
Was also selected a group of
keynote speakers to give lectures summarizes the findings of the minds of the
community of international scientists in the field of education technology. A
number of workshops have also been organized for decision makers and for Ministry
of Education teachers, to help in discovering the best ways to use technology
in the classroom as well as in the preparation of and modeling electronic
lessons, more than 100 teachers from all the provinces of the State of Kuwait
in addition to a large number of participants from outside the State of Kuwait
has been participated in these workshops.
The conference included an exhibition
coincides with the scientific and academic activities of the Conference, with
the participation of elite companies specialized in technology and
communications, education, and the conference supporting companies.
Convene the conference under the patronage of
the Ministry of Education in Kuwait and the Kuwait Foundation for the
Advancement of Science. Conference synchronization with the strategies development
of the Ministry of Education to adopt the introduction of information
technology in the classroom and the introduction of communication technology at
all levels of management where, probably contributes to the transfer of
information and communications technology to education by offering
international experiences in this field in the presence of international
experts in education technology.
